Origin of the watch

Power, authority, vigilance, velocity and strength –the most mysterious of mystical creatures of ancient times – the GRIFFIN, is famous for the sum total of these qualities. This truly magnificent creation is a confluence of the most powerful animals and combines the qualities of kings of animals.

It was believed that the messenger of the gods will protect securely from misfortune and bring wealth. Today, the image of this mythical animal is found in the architecture and in art of many nations. GRIFFIN - is a noble creature, which represents the protection and righteousness, and is one of the royal symbols of England.

GRIFFIN, presented on the watch dial, in contrast with his widespread predecessors and prototypes, embodies four sources, four elements; the head and wings are traditionally aquiline which symbolizes the air; the front of body and legs are leonine – the element of the earth; the tail is like a dragon's, and the dragon is a fire- spouting animal; and finally, the spine, covered with fish scales, symbolizes the element of water. The release of these watches in four colors - blue (water), red (fire), purple (air), and green (earth) - is partly due to this fact.

The Fire - is the engine of the world, the symbol of vitality, fertility, the personification of the sun and sunlight, a divine gift, refinement. In the fire is hidden the divine power which animates and inspires the human heart and ignites the soul. These are all actions that man produces: ideal, emotional, mental and physical.

The Ruby - the symbol of power and might - complements all symbolism of the design. The ruby gives to its owner the power of a lion, the courage of an eagle and the wisdom of a serpent.
